Briefly describe how you accepted Christ?
Because my early perception of what I thought I heard at church was “prepare for heaven sometime (I believed I had), and be good for goodness’ sake in the meantime (I felt I was)”, I gave little consideration to God’s involvement in my life beyond that. My sophomore year in High School, I found something Jesus said very compelling. “I have come that you might have life, and live it to the full” (John 10:10). Jesus was talking about life lived to the absolute max right now, not just heaven one day. Really? I mean, really? This was a game changer for me – a defining moment. No more random, casual Christianity. I chose to go “all in”. What God had to say was now relevant concerning everything – relationships, where I would go, what I would do, who I would be, and the man, husband, father, and friend I would become.
