Briefly describe how you accepted Christ?
I grew up in church and heard all the stories in the Bible about who and what Jesus Christ had done for me, but never trusted in Him fully. It was not until I was 18 years old at a revival that I accepted Christ in my hometown church of Mississippi. That night Jesus revealed to me that I knew about Him in my head but never trusted Him into my heart. I went and talk with my youth pastor and prayed and made Christ boss of my life.

What do you do at LABC?
Assistant Recreation Pastor

What was the first album you bought?
I bought my first album in 8th grade. It was “Jesus Freak” by DC Talk.

What is your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is a place back in Mississippi called OEC Japanese Express. They make the best fried rice with chicken and shrimp, with some of the BEST pink sauce.

What is your favorite verse and why?
My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. Back in 2010 my life changed when I surrendered to the ministry. I was coaching high school basketball and new in my heart that God wanted me to go into ministry. After about a 6 month battle with the Lord I finally trusted in Him. I went and resigned from my coaching job not knowing where or what me and wife Lindsay where going to do. It was 2 weeks later the Lord provided me with my first ministry job. From there he lead us to Fort Worth,  Texas is 2011 and a year later to LABC. My wife and I have been amazed at Gods favor on our lives! All because we have trusted in Him and allowed him to lead our path. Although, we may not understand it, we acknowledge it is nothing we do its what Christ does for us!

What is your favorite worship album?
My favorite album would be “Hello Love” by Chris Tomlin, simply because of the song “God of this City”.

What is your proudest moment?
My proudest moment is everyday! God has granted HUGE favor on me to be married to the most beautiful woman in the world! My bride, my wife, and biggest supporter Lindsay Broom! Without her there would be a lot less proud moments.

My favorite sports teams are the Duke Blue Devils basketball and the Texas Rangers.
