Lake Arlington Baptist Church

I like all of Philippians 3, but my favorite part is Philippians 3:10-11 - "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead."

Where and how did you accept Christ?
I was at the great Baylor University in my dorm room.

What is your dream for your ministry?

My hope is that Lake Arlington becomes a church that literally changes the world.

What is your educational background (School & Degree)?

Bachelor Degree in Speech Communication (Baylor University). Dual Masters Degree in Theology and Missiology (Truett Theological Seminary). Doctorate in Ministry (Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary).

What are you most proud of in your ministry over the past year?

The continued growth of church over the past year, both spiritually and numerically.

How did you propose to your spouse or how did your spouse?

I sent Laura on a scavenger hunt where each clue was part of a puzzle. There were ten stops and at each stop she received a gift and an influential person in our life prayed over her. The culmination of the hunt was at her apartment, where I waited to wash her feet and propose.

Do you have children?

We have Emma Grace, and she is amazing. She has daddy wrapped around her finger, and she knows it. Her birthday is March 29th, 2007.

What is your favorite restaurant?

Just about anything Mexican (specifically, the Ninfas in Waco, only Waco).

What are your top 5 recording artists and/or songs?

Bono and U2. Passion Bands (Crowder, Tomlin, etc.). Avril Lavigne, Bon Jovi, James Taylor.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Fishing with my dad and dog, Mac.
