Welcome Thank you for taking the time to get acquainted with LABC. If you would like to visit us in person, we would love to have you as a guest at our First Look. If you are interested in joining our fellowship of believers, you need to check out our Starting Point Newcomer's Class. You will find details and dates below. If you are ready to attend the class you may sign up by contacting Judy Nance, our assistant, at judy.nance@labc.com. Attendance is not a commitment to membership. Starting Point Newcomer's Class Because of the varied backgrounds from which our members come, we want to help everyone be of one heart so we can focus on the God-given mission to which we have been called. Our Starting Point Newcomer's Class is designed to do just that. Those desiring to join our fellowship are required to attend this two-part class. The class is an orientation to LABC, our purpose and beliefs, what it means to be a member and how to join. Our resource coaches will assist and encourage you in determining your place of personal growth and ministry within our fellowship. Worth for Bible study and worship. A short time later, Tarrant Road Baptist Church was organized with 28 members. For thirty years the church experienced God-driven growth through love and care to its community. In an effort to reach out to a new community, God provided new property in Southwest Arlington, and on December 8, 1974, Lake Arlington Baptist Church (formerly Tarrant Road Baptist Church) broke ground for it’s new location. Lake Arlington Baptist Church has experienced tremendous growth by providing a loving atmosphere for families and individuals wanting to know and serve God. |
