Briefly describe how you accepted Christ?
My parents went through a divorce when I was nine. I found my world crumbling around me. God used this time of fear and insecurity to show me the safety and security found in His Son Jesus. On my ninth birthday my father shared with me the story of salvation. Essentially my bad actions separated me from God. God sent His Son to die on the cross, be buried and rise from the dead to rescue me from the consequence of my wrongdoings. I prayed that night asking God to be real in my life and committed my life to Him.

What is your favorite verse and why?
Galatians 2:20 (ESV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. This verse reminds me who I serve on a daily basis and what He has done for me. When I am stuck in the frustrations of life this verse redirects my  focus.
